    Airbag Control Module Rebuild

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
has anyone had success with sending their airbag controller to a company that can rebuild them? I've sent mine to www.airbagsystems.com twice now with no success. I'm willing to try one more time with another company before I buy a new one. Any help would be great. My car wasn't in a wreck or anything, the light just came on and I get the usual bad airbag module code.

so none of you have tried sending one in to be rebuilt? I know what the problem is and i know I can buy a new one and fix it, but $50 fix is better than $600 part.

I think you may have to vag-com the new module, but here's how you install it.

Sounds like your unit is defective and not a programming issue.

Have you tried purchasing a used control module & reprogramming that one?

My airbag light flashes speratically only about 25% of the time. Is this the same issue?
They want you afraid of your neighbors, your community, your family, your ability to support yourself, terrorists, climate change, China, Russia, Covid. As long as you are afraid, and won't unite red or blue, they win.

The only way to know is to get a vag-com cable and scan the module.
