To everyone else - I actually turned myself into the proper authorities. I am happy to report that I have been given a certain timeframe to purchase a new Audi, thereby renewing my subscription to Moderator powers.

I am going to hold off until late next year, however, as I want all my money to go to a house and my impending wedding (if the fiances family needs help). So, no big car purchase until next year...Unless, of course, my agreement with my fiance works out, at which point, i'll be in a nice new S4 as soon as they come out if all goes to plan.

What's that plan you may or may not ask?

It works like an employer matching 401k for me ... For every dollar that my fiance wastes buying pocketbooks, unecessary clothes, shoes, makeup, etc ... she has to give me 50% of her purchases in cash form for my car fund. If I have to save money to buy us a house and a honeymoon, rings, etc ... then she will contribute to my car fund for every dollar she wastes.

The 'lawyer' in me almost made her sign a contract.

So far, I have $175 (thanks Christmas shopping!) [i'm Jewish, so every dollar counts. Holidays count for only 25%] from her, and she's realizing she can't spend her money on stupid crap anymore.

Profit.

The B7 forum is hilarious. When I bagged my B6 I expected everyone to act like I was desecrating a historical landmark or something but most people thought it was pretty cool. When the Aggrivated Commie did the exact same thing to his car people acted like he was burning the Geneva Convention or something.

The DTM makes use of the non-sline grill. I believe that it pre-dates the sline.
