    Febi, TRW or Lemforder?

Pretty straight forward. I need to get some control arms. Which brand? I was told Febi was good and it was heavy duty, compared to stock. ECS Also recommended these but I went to this local VW/Audi shop and they told me it was complete crap and they wanted me to go with the Lemforder which is more expensive.

Is Febi really that bad or...?

the oem ones are plenty strong... do you really run your car that hard to get reinforced control arms? save your $$ for something more useful

The place that offers me the Febi actually says it's better than stock. They say its the revised parts. I dunno what to believe now. Obvisouly, I wont track the car everyday, but I like to sometimes push it in the corners and I don't want to change these every year.

And how is Febi jobber? It's made by Bilstein, in Germany too...

    Re: Febi, TRW or Lemforder?

Lemfoerder and TRW make factory arms for Audi. They are the genuine OEM supplier. Some arms are Lemf, some are TRW. Both are identical to what you get from the dealership, thus they are more expensive.

We've sold hundreds of Febi-Bilstein kits for both the B5 and B6/B7 models with fantastic results. They're a great setup that definitely works well. Our kits feature a 1year warranty as well. Definitely a great option to the higher priced Lemf/TRW items.

when people ask me for them, people specifically ask for the febi/bilstein. and i know they looked up in various forums to see which one to order.

I have just recently changed all control arms to Lemforder and it's a completely different car right now.
