A friend of mine has a set of Asanti AF128's 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 on his 2005 Mercedes c230. Will they fit my 2005 A4 1.8tq?

Re: Will MB wheels fit my Audi?

Most Mercedes Benz wheels are a 5x112 bolt pattern, so often times they will work on the VW / Audi platform. When trying to fit them on the VW / Audi platform you want to check:

    a) bolt size / diameter, some Mercedes wheels use a 12x1.5 bolt instead of a 14x1.5
    b) offsets, some of the staggered setups can have lower offsets, many will work though
    c) center bore, typically Mercedes wheels are a 67mm center bore and VW / Audi uses 57.1, hubcentric rings take care of that

Nope. I know the new Audi A4's have a larger center bore, i believe its the 09 version which is 66.6.

The good thing with Mercedes wheels is that its a 2 ways street and Audi wheels are a 1 way street. Mercedes fitment should fit the Audi and the Audi fitment will not fit the mercedes due to the center bore

Nice info. Did you still go with your initial plan of installing MB wheel?
    Wheel test: 20" x 8.5" KMC wheels.
