Whats the red T emblem mean?

Just wondering what the red T on the 2006 A4 2.0T means. Some are all chrome and some are red with chrome trim. Whats the red one stand for?

Thats right. Which meant that model B5 came with 30 extra HP because of the bigger turbo. Does it mean the same for the 2006? Or is it 15 extra HP like grimlock said?

If you had a B5 A4, the red T = sport package. If you have a B7 with a red T, it means Germans like to change things up once in a while. '06 B7 have red T's, anything after is a silver T in reg, prem, s-line, or s-line w/ titanium package.

All 2.0t's had the red T at first, but I think after 2006 they switched it back to chrome. It didn't signify anything. I guess it was just another way to "cut costs' when they stripped all the sweet goodies from the 2005/2006 A4's.

There shouldn't be many MY07 with a red T, but the MY06 all had them. They may have used up their stock on the first 07's, but there shouldn't have been many.

o i did the same thing but my car is slower now because the T gave me 20hp and it was red too so the red gave my like 50hp but i just got like 5 red T now my car is fast as hell

Protip: If you can find a red T emblem (they're rare) it gives your car more power off the line for street racing
