Anybody have Eibach Pro-Kit springs in their C5?

Hey guys, I just got my 2.7T lowered last week and i love it! The front has like half a finger gap while the rear still has like 1 to 2 finger gap. Do these springs compress a little more when they get settled?

You still stock as far as shocks? How's the ride?

I have them, and so does my buddy on his 04 Sline.
With Eibach, you'll have a rake.... rear always higher. The H&R springs did not have that rake, not a much anyway. This will help your ride though, giving yuor shocks a little mroe travel.
BTW I have the Eibachs with Koni FSD's and my buddy has the Eibachs with Koni Yellow sport shocks. It'll settle some, but both front and rear settle :)

I have the Eibach Pro-kit springs with stock shocks - everything's fine so far (had them on for over a year now) - great ride, handles well, none of the "bounciness" you hear about...

I have them as well, however my front is a bit higher than the rear for some reason. I have the 3.0 however. I would think that they would be rated for the difference in motor weight though. I also have stock shocks. Here is a pic:

Thanks. I still have a few things that need to be done to it. The wheels are Zender Tuner's, 19X8.5 with a 35 offset. Tires are 245/35.

yea i've definitely noticed such a drastic improvement in the handling...i want short shifter next. anybody done this one yet?

yeah I'm waiting auction close on ebay... found spring there.... hope gets it. I can't stand that gap either.
what shocks recommend to go with?

I personally would not but it is feasible especially on sport suspension. Also depends on springs. Eibach are easier,they are longr and less agressive. H&R have a more aggressive rate and lower the car more. Aftermarket springs no stock shocks will wear your shocks quickly and then you'll end up paying labor again to replace the shocks plus your car won't ride/handle as well, it'll kinda bounce. I would do both at once and pay labor once.
I did springs first on stock sport suspension, and I was not happy. SO i did shockls later and wasted $.

BTW, i am selling my used set of Koni Yellows sport shocks and H&R springs for SPORT suspension A6 Quattro.

my suspension is sold to longbeach 24.

but my buddy with the grey A6 on the pics above is selling is his Koni sport/yellows wiht low miles on them. They'll work on A6 Quattro with Sport suspension. NO springs
