Ok, I googled this but dont know wich one to download.. some of them talk about 3 files that are created, but you have to copy and paste them in at every test you do. Anybody have any experience with this?

Ohh yeah, I am too much of a cheap bastard to go buy the real thing... especially knowing that I'll probably have to put money down for components (sensors) on my car.

so what are you going to do when your turbos/tranny/wheel bearings/o2's/egts/ect that always go on these cars....goes? Sell it?If you can't afford a $250 cord....you're driving the WRONG kind of car. Seriously, what are you going to due if your turbos or tranny goes?

Aren't you going to do the tranny rebuild on yourself? If so, please do a D.I.Y. as I will want to rebuild my tranny myself. Please?! haha

Yeah, right now I'm planning on rebuilding it myself. We'll see if time allows, I guess. I have to juggle full-time school plus 5 part time jobs....so we'll see how it goes. If I do rebuild it myself, I'll definitely do a DIY write-up, though.

I didnt say that I was gonna use the crack forever... just to get me out of this pickle.. and yes, maybe I am driving the wrong car... if something major goes then I'll be screwd for next few months... or at least while I am paying for the car.. once its payed for I can breathe a little.. anyway.. that crack on the torrents doesnt work.. by the time it starts scanning the ABS it comes up the the error message that it is not the registered version. if it worked it woudnt say that... so yeah.. hmmmm, of course if you have anything else to add or any tips you can pm me... mods, you can delete this if you want.

the crack is for the older version of vag com, not sure what functions you want to use but the trial will get you by for alot of features.

The license should be built into the cable... unless you have a third party cable.
The ross-tech vagcoms are made to work right out of the box.

no kidding.. especially when you look at the picture and it's a bunch of paper clips and machined washers (j/k). I do appreciate Jay putting the kit together though as it does provide a good option for some of us.
