how much should the 70,000 mile service cost?

got that letter in the mail from the stealership, just wondering what you paid for your 70,000mile service, hope i dont get ripped off

is that the one with the Timing belt and water pump? Mine TIRED to get me for $1400...laughed. If thats not the one with timing belt and water pump, its the one with abunch of filter changes and what not...im gonna say $350 to $400, ball park

Maintenance Schedules

The 60K service is where they change the filters and check your axles, trans and such. I paid around $350 for mine at the dealer.

70K is less involved, and doesn't include filter changes or even checking the axles, trans, etc. Might be wrong, but I think I was quoted around $165 for the 70K. Coming up on mine pretty soon here.

Per the maintenance schedule linked above, timing belt doesn't get done until 105K. Right

see thats weird cause my dealership said they do timing belt around 65. DO NOT let that belt go to 105 I just had mine changed (80K) and the water pump bearings were going bad and the belt was getting cracked. For 02 they had timing belt and water pump at 105 then changed it to 75 in 03, i think...either way get it done before 80 for safe measure

Based on the maintenance schedule that wiscaudi gave the 70K sound be around $300 to $350

if you can afford the TB service do it...theres nothing like cheap insurance
