    Where to buy N75 valve

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I've been searching where to get a n75 valve. I've seen some say they are 60 bucks

I also seen a ecs race n75 valve, was going to get it, then when I called they said they dont recommend it for our 2.7 cars. Mixed results with it

So back to square 1, I've seen prices for 81-97 bucks but want to find best price and quality to order from

I hear there are many versions out there. on audiworld there is rightup for
    pt # 078 906 283 B

I found 1 place that carries that one, waiting to hear back from them on it

I also read that there are H valves and J valves??? Is there a common one that works for our cars. I have the 2001.5

Re: Where to buy N75 valve

why are you getting an n75 valve. Reason i'm asking is I've been recommended to try switching my n75 valve to see if it will eliminate my boost issues i've been having.

Re: Where to buy N75 valve

from me :). I eliminated mine because im cutsom tuned anyway and i opted for the manual boost controller. I went stage 3 and figured it was a good idea to put a new one in. Then decided i didnt want it. Has less than 500 miles on it and i should be able to get an ecs tuning reciept to prove it. 50 shipped. LMK!

Re: Where to buy N75 valve

I am looking at getting a n75 for simular reasons. mine spikes to 15-16 (I have mbc set to leave it at that, but then it immediately drops to 10-11 psi then will start building up till I let off

I've heard the n75 can go bad, so i was thinking of replacing it to see if it helps it hold better

I have quote from genuineaudiparts.com : The H valve has been replaced by the J valve. However, these are applicable to tiptronic cars only. As you have a 6S manual, your N75 valve should be 078906283A. List price on this part is $95.48, our price is $65.88 plus shipping. I do not have this one in stock, but can ship tomorrow. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks again........Craig

this is the cheapest price I found so far

as regards the ECS Tuning, comment from RCJUSTIN, is yours the race n75? if so I probably would not be interested in that one, I've heard those dont work too good for our engines.

078906283A is the wrong part #. I went off this thread and ordered it and didn't want anyone else to do the same. 078906283B is the correct part # for the oem n75 valve.

    In stock here with us!
Those "race" versions of the valve are more commonly (albeit unwisely) used on the 1.8T motors. The 2.7T should use the stock valve.

you can find it for that price if you go back to 2008. Things tend to cost more money as time marches on, especially after 6 years. That like asking "where can i get a pristine 70 Challenger for $3,500, i read a magazine from 1970 saying thats what they cost".

You wont find a new N75 for $60 from a retailer, but used ones for under that are floating around.
