How much should an exhaust install cost?

I am looking for a place to install my milltek exhauast, and the shop that i asked quoted me on 350 installed. Is this a good price or no? The exhaust is 999, so 350 on top would make it 1350 out the door. Is this what everyone pays? Any advice would be nice. Thanks

$350 is steep. I paid $160 for full exhaust including test pipe.

i was quoted $65 install if the borla setup was purchased from that particular shop...and not at an inflated price.

even $250 sounds pretty high, it should take less than two hours labor for a qualified shop to do the install right?

It should take about 2 to 2.5hrs max. Let's say @ $65/hr. Your looking at $130 to $165 range.

I did it by myself. The catback is a peace of cake took about 45 minutes. The test pipe took my like 1 hour and was a pita compared to the Catback. DIY it really is straight forward. If you cant DIY than just go to a regular muffler shop.

My local shop quoted me $90/hr and a two hour install, so $180.

I would think 100-200 is a fair price. Unless its something paricularly complicated.

installing exhaust is easy, should be around 100-200, i paid 100 to install my tp

I think I paid 50 at my local meineke. they didnt even do it on the record. He just asked if i had cash and got one of his emps to do it
