ADR M Wheels - What do you guys think of these?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I am selling my 19" BBS RSGTs and 17" BBS RC AND am searching for the impossible... 18's for better ride than my 19's and more tirewall for protection on our nasty streets... and they should be on the cheaper side and strong !!!

    I am looking at
BBS CH's I might be bale to get for 1600 set, which is the most I would pay for rims... but they have no lip. I think a lip helps our car's appearance

RH AO Phoenix, probably 900-1000$ for the set

    RH Vesuv, prob 900-1000$

Oettinger RE ???? ow much, 1600 for the set?

BUT I also saw these that I like very much... However I have found very little info on the company. What do you know of the brand and these specific wheels? I like those rims and they seem to be CHEAP!
Also their fitement tool say the won't fit my car but I think i is BS...

    http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...2D+Hyper+Black

    ALL in 18 X 8.5 probably ET35

    What's your opinion on ADR?
    but also

your top choice among all the above, considering my car's look and size.

    Thanks
    Have a great day, Brice

the CHs would look good IMO (but I'm biased my M3 rolls on CHs) :-)

have you looked @ ASA ? You can get into a set of 4 for under $1300.
the AR2 has the look of your RS-GT, but in 18s.

Re: ADR M Wheels - What do you guys think of these?

    They look nice.
what size are they? I am curious about the offset, look like they are in the fenders. THough of using a specer? But my shop, even though they sell them, kind of push customers away from Axis due to quality issue... apparently they break on impact...???

Never seen your sbut like them a lot, I'll check on price. I like the mesh design and these have long spokes which would help them look a little bigger since I am only getting 18's.
They are real nice in that color and with the polished lip.

Re: ADR M Wheels - What do you guys think of these?

Saw the web site, look s like I ahve a couple of nice options, but like the ADR 42 M best. If I go ADR, I'd liek to get some feedback from owners or people who know the brand.

Also anyone knows the best/cheapest place to buy them?
    Thx

ADR - tons of new sets on Ebay, under $600, never used them, but there is a guy around the corner from my house that has a set on his Passat and they look great.

    Good Luck

The ADR's are great wheels. i had three seperate sets, the same company produces Stern; and RS Limited wheels. Those will definately fit your vehicle and i have seen them on an audi at this cardomain link and they were designed for euro applications:

Re: ADR M Wheels - What do you guys think of these?

AND I have always liked these... but I heard bad stuff about Axxis wheels, form a quality standpoint?
What do you guys think of this wheel and AXXIS? This one has the maxxi lip for staggered look
18x8 size offset 30 and 38 available... price is low 300's/wheel..

A stunning new design from Axis that continues the success of the "Maxis Lip", the Axis Decade brings the staggered look of cars that can't accept a staggered fitment. An almost 2 inch lip in the front is paired with an almost 3 1/4" lip in the rear for an awesome staggered look on many cars. Available exclusively in an 18 diameter, the Axis Decade is sure to be an instant classic. The Decade comes in a Hyper Silver finish with a stainless polished lip that is just as lusterous as chrome without being as fragile. The Axis Decade is available in four and five lug applications.

I've seen M-Classics on 1sickS4's car, 20's, and a friend of mine had them on his 3000GT converted ro VR-4

they do look great, especially for the money

btw, I love Axis Penta's, those are SWEET

but, I think I would still go with Oettingers

I would go with Oettinger RE or ADR M.. I really love the look of BBS CH but NO lip and it too common.

Got a qupte pf 1950 on Oettinger

I ahve two potential buyers for my RSGTs and one for my RC's,if I sell both within a week or so, I might spenf a little more and get the Oettinger.
A local shop advised me to pass on the ADR for quality reasons.

ADR has a good quality, and 19s look good on a 6 in staggered set-up, cant beat the price either! Daddy Mo had them on his b6 avant and auto-x them with no problem :)
imo go with ADR and save big !

$1950 is a good price for Oettinger w/tires. Well as a shop owner, i can say that i have sold many sets with no worries. of the three set i had on my personal cars, i drove them daily in NYC. i was only able to crack one front wheel on the FDR Drive in Manhattan. the wheels are of excellent quality and finish from japan distributed through the Golden Apple corporation. However, the company does cater to the ricer/asian market, so euro fittings will be limited. Tough decision, good luck

yeah thats the only reason why I wouldn't do a BBS

you should check out how great Oettinger wheels look on other Audi's, especially B6 A4/S4 that will dive you a great idea of how good they would look on the A6, especially in 19 size

x2 on ADR appealing more to a ricer crowd, not a bad wheel, but there are too many "impot owners" that want that German staggered look on their FWD cars ...

If you were sticking with 19s...i'd say ADR M Classics. Look very nice and elegant.

However...a wheel with a lip will look so small in 18in on an A6.

So I will say BBS RC
