    The rear seals are a bitch, you have to partially take the cams out. Luckily the dealer covered mine under warranty! Good luck!

    sorry to bring it up, but i still cant find any good DIY for any camshaft seals, any info(price, websites, etc) would be greatly appreciated

    lol @ my retarded response years ago. Are you trying to change the cam tensioner gasket or the front cam seals?

    i dont think that anything is leaking yet, but im getting new clutch and changing oil everywhere, so i want to do preventive maintenance on EVERYTHING that i can while i have access to lifts and tools.

    You will have to take the valve cover off then the cam cap that holds the seals in place (it spans across both cams). For the intake cam you will need to take the cam position sensor off which is easy to then slide the old seal off and put the new one on, but the exhaust cam involves a lot more work. You will have to take the timing belt off and then the cam gear so that means you will need to take the cam tensioner off. Basically you will need to do a timing belt job, so look for what you have to do to change the timing belt because you will need to remove all that crap in order to take the timing belt off to then take the cam gear off so you can once again slide the cam seal off then slide the new one on.
