    Radiator fan Not working!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I've notice that my radiator fan is not turning anymore....
Even when i turn on the heat or a/c (cold) the radiator fan does not turn on at all.

On a longggg stop and go traffic, it would overheat!

what should i look for? fan relay/switch? location? or is it a coolant temp sensor by the radiator?

There is a sensor mounted in the lower radiator hose. That one is tied in to the fan relay.

2nd old guy, also the cooling fan control module fails sometimes. It is the silver box on the top side of the drivers side fan. If the fans don't come on when you turn on the a/c then I would say that the Cooling fan CM is your problem

Check the relay first, it's in the ECU box, left end of plenum under the windshield.

Did you check fuse number 4? It is a 5 amp fuse.

Are you chipped? I had the same problem and it had something to do with the software on my APR chip. They reflashed it and everything started working normally again
