Has anyone bought anything from 42 Draft Designs lately?

I ordered a boost gauge on Tue. and received an email with my order number confirming the purchase. Now I was on their site yesterday and I noticed in their "news" section it mentioned that their online ordering was down and would not be back up until late yesterday (Wednesday 11/7). After reading the "news" I emailed them at [email protected] to confirm that they did in fact receive my order and I also asked when it would be shipping.

It's worth mentioning that on their contact page they say that the easiest way of reaching them is via email. Well they have not responded to mine.

I also did a WhoIs lookup of the website and I emailed the named technical contact ([email protected]) hoping to get an answer about my order. Again, as I dreadfully expected, I have yet to receive a reply. I've tried calling them as well and it just rings and rings without even going to an answering machine.

So I'm reaching out to the 'Zine' and asking if anyone has ever had any similar issues with 42 Draft Designs. It was my impression that they were a reputable company, but if they cannot even respond to customer emails something must be going on.......

i ordered from them last year ... never a problem so i dunno what happened.... how many times have you called them?

Called at least three times yesterday between 3pm and 6pm

and twice today between 10am and 11:30am

is there a time difference between you and them? try to do a DNS Search on a lookup place and get the number of the owner of the site and call him...

Ok, just called again and someone actually picked up the phone!

Apparently they are still having network connectivity issues and are unable to receive emails, but I was able to get a tracking # for my shipment so all seems to be well.

Now hopefully UPS gets the address right!

The owner was listed as 42 Draft and the phone # was the same as the one listed on their website.

And there is no time difference; we're both on the east coast.
