I did several solo trips upwards of 800 miles in a day. My highest was 998 miles before midnight.
The stock seats get flat, hard, and unsupported. The heaters really help but the lumbar is oddly shaped and in a poor area. If you think the Audi has great seats then you really need to go drive a Volvo. From the 850 on up they have exceptional seats. Easily some of the best in the world. Those freeky deeky Swedes have IKEAs like we have MAL-WARTS and chill out in their eKornes stressless loungers and sip tea all day. They build some nice chairs for their rides.
I had Cobra Daytonas and they weren't bad at all. The first week I felt forced into an odd position and it was all a bit awkward. After maybe a month they felt better than anything. I was good for a pair of 6 hour stints in a day. Heaters would have made them better and the headrest could have been a couple inches taller but that is about it. My back hated me for a month after putting the stock sport seats back in.
