Any info on Keskin wheels? Opinions, reviews?

The KT1's and the KT2's have peaked my interest. I know they're 18's blah blah blah, and I know I have 19's why would I downgrade, but thats not what I'm really asking. Are they two or three piece wheels? Are they strong, durable? Anyone who has seen these in person, how are the step lips, size in inches? I know MChammered was running Keskins on his car, so feel free to chime in bro. Also, the KT1's come in a specific offset, Capt. Obvious, how do the offsets on these wheels, esspecially in the 18 x 10's compare to your old HRE set up?

    Thanks!

Re: Any info on Keskin wheels? Opinions, reviews?

I had the Keskin KT4 and I loved them.

They are single piece cast wheel, a bit on the heavy side but super strong. I hit a couple of nasty potholes and they came out without any damage.

The only issue with the deep dish design is the fact you can only run the stock brakes on them. I had to sell the wheels as I wanted a BBK, otherwise I'd still have them.

IIRC, the 18x10's are et35 and the 8.5's are et 30 or 35. If so, they'll fit pretty close to the same way my HRE's did. You'll have some poke, and they'll rub a lot when cornering hard or with people in the car. If you get the 10's, go with a 225/40 in the front and a 235/40 in the rear. You can also go with a 255/35 in the rear, but it will rub more. You'll also need to run camber somewhere in the neighborhood of -2 degrees.

I really like the KT2's but I wish they had a wheel in the 18 x 10. If I go with the KT1's though I'll probably go with the 255/35 in the rear. I was really feeling the Rial Daytona Race's in the 19 x 8.5 in the front and a 19 x 10 in the rear, but I don't have $3500 to cough up. These will be in the neighborhood of $2400 which is around what I was looking to spend. Thanks for the info.

IMO KT4's look much nicer than LM reps.

Re: Any info on Keskin wheels? Opinions, reviews?

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Lm reps. The step lip is too minimal. I'm sort of going for a different look with the car, not really feeling the HRE's, J-Lines, DPE's, BBS's and all that jazz.

If the fronts were a half inch bigger, and the rears were another inch and a half bigger, I'd be interested. Sweet wheels though!! I've always been a fan of Forgelines but too much change for me. Good luck on the sale though!!
