Custom Audi Snowboards :)

Guys,

We are working on getting these custom made snowboards for $425 on a group buy. We can have the boards match the color of your car. Please share your thoughts.

not a big fan. i think maybe one with a badass like B5 or something on it might work. i remember back in the day, Ali Goulet had his B5 A3 on his board, it looked nice. IMO. let me know if you guys do decide to make some boards. i would be down to get one and put it on my collection on the wall.

Yeah, not sure if I like that design. I would definitely be all for it if there was a B5 S4 on it or something like that, even more likely to do it if you did some skis.

Not to be a hater BUT, i think its a pretty bad design, if its just for hanging up on the wall of the garage than i agree with the ill b5 S4

You also forgot to mention board material, core, layering, stiffness, freeride, alpine or freestyle. I'm quite happy with my Burton and Allian snowboards however.

yea, not a big fan of the design.

something simple with "Audi A4" or "quattro" with the gecko symbol would be pretty tight. a solid color with some shadowing is nice and simple.

actually, i really like the idea of a silver board with shadowing and "quattro" on the top with the gecko and white background with a 4 silver rings slanted on the bottom.

I'm not to hot about that topsheet graphic either but if you made the bottom with the gekko logo like I have on my bowling ball I'd be up for one of those boards.

Especially if you made a 20cm wide carving stick for me!

$425 is expensive?

Most quality (read: high-end) boards are going for $450+ anyway.

Most of those high quality boards can be had at a discount during the off-season or the next season. Anyway, YES, $425 is an expensive board no matter how you try to slice and dice it. The $425 is also the discounted group buy price. We def. need the specs first and they better be solid.

Good idea but for the price, it better not be just a decal stuck on top - we'll need more details for sure (as someone mentioned - core, freeride/freestyle, stiffness, etc.)

IMO, the design is much too cartoon-y/silly for a serious boarder - I could see 10 year old kids rocking that design

The manufacturer of the boards are Monson/Axia and as some of you know Tommy Czeshin (US Chevy Grand Prix National Champion) rides for them so you know it's top notch stuff!

um, its a vented snowboard??? im assumin thats some sort of a grill up top of the board...im not quite sure how that would hold up with powder snow...and were going to need a lot more then Tommy Czeshin riding it...

i think i am seeing the board in the wrong way. i am seeing all of the shadows and such actually being carved into the board, hence why the shadows are there...not because of a graphic overlay.

I'm actually not a huge fan of the graphics, I like the concept of a Audi graphic on a board (or better skis) but I don't like this interpretation.

if i were you i would make it with a B5 Avant on the top sheet and have the Audi rings on the bottom.

We need to know what sizes, core, flex, etc... Looks like they tried to mock up a car out of that thing and it looks horrible. Tried to hard. All we need is some rings biatch!!! Oversized rings on the bottom going over the edge and just the embosed rings straight up on top.

$425 is steep IMO. I usually get new boards from $125 to $200. What they need to do is make a Vans Fargo boot with four rings on embroidered on the heel =)

ya that price is kinda high, i got my burton baron ES last year for 125 after the season was over....

No offense but, the designer must have made that design very quickly.

It would have looked nicer if it was more minimalist and featured just some rings or the quattro logo like others have said.

It looks like they wanted to make the board look like an R8 but, they would have been better off showing an R8 drifting through some snow on the board. Then it would look like there was a tiny R8 doing snow donuts on your board.

an audi snowboard manufactured by a small to no-name company shouldn't ever be $450. I bought a top of the line Rome last year new at full retail for $500. Yes, $450 is a mid-level board but only for a very large successful company. $450 from a company no one has heard of is borderline outrageous. To sell at that price we'll need videos and serious specs for justification.

saw one of these at my local dealer. doesnt look very nice in person and the quality isnt that great.
