main focus is automotive but will be getting into motorcyle parts. My friend just got a new cbr1000rr. Bike is stupid. I will fab some parts up for him.

why mastercad vs. pro/e vs. autocad? I've taken classes in both autocad, and i'm doing pro/e right now which is a world better than autocad.

so, why not pro/e?

Plus i'm learning how to use milling machines, lathe and various woodshop machines. hire me.

agreed...i have never even heard of masterCAD...I have been a practicing engineer for a while...we use autoCAD, inventor, pro-e, or even solid works...

yeah actually, my business partner went to a seminar yesterday on solid works and it really looks good. We might go that way. And, no i have not been to class yet. When we purchase the system we are both going to training. What are your thoughts on solid works? He was saying something that it translate real world stress and shows you pressure distribution on your parts.

that's pretty sweet. I've only been using pro/e for like 3 weeks. but i'll let you know what it can and cannot due in november or so when the class ends hah!

they had a demo at the solid works show. It was a machine the size of a fridge. It prototyped parts out of plastic so you could test fit and not waste the money on metal.
