Pentosin Power steering Fluid....Made from Gold?

why the hell is this shit so ridiculously expensive?
After reading up on other forums, and searching the hell out of this one, I found out what Exact fluid audi uses/recommends. I find out its " Pentosin"
Rode my bike down to NAPA with $20 in my pocket thinking even for audi PS fluid it cant be more than $20.
Wrong, I get there and they have it, along with a white can for cheaper with nothing but German Writing all over it LOL.
So $26.00 later I have a Can of this crap and a quiet power steering pump. I have no idea when the last time the PS fluid was changed/added, so I have no way of telling if its a leak or just on the original PS fluid, with no fill ups or changes EVER.

ah yes Pentosin CHF 11s. Gotta love it. I had purchased a bottle of $2.99 fluid for my old B5 before reading in the forums it caused power steering pumps to start squealing and give out.

Guess $25 for a bottle is better than $500 or so for a new steering pump.

Can you do me a favor and confirm the color is COMPLETELY clear?? I remember it being clear, and the B5S4 I bought has BROWN fluid when I checked the PS fluid level. If it should be clear I need to flush it immediately. TIA!!
