    Horn stopped working, not fuse

What else could go wrong with a horn? I checked the fuse already. Also, how hard would it be, if the horn just went bad, to replace it myself?

    Thanks!

My low tone horn was dead when I bought my Audi. I pulled the high and low horns out of my Dodge and installed them. It's kinda wierd to honk and hear the Dodge, but it sounds depper than most import horns which I like. I had to solder on the Dodge connections and it works great.

Hit up a junk yard and pull the horns off a caddy or something.

Not hard to do, just take bumper cover off and it should be mounted to inside of cover. There's DIY for front bumper removal on a4mods.com.

Is it easier to remove the bumper cover or headlights? Cause I removed my headlights to replace the horns. Either way it's a relatively easy swap.

BTW, At first I bought some Hella supertwins like what a lot of the WRX guys like/use. I hated the sound they made which was the first and foremost problem. But also the mounting bolt and overall frame were bigger and it would not fit in the stock location. So I got rid of those and put my Dodge horns in. They fit like charm and I like the sound.

check to make sure they were not disconnected last time the bumper may have come off.

as mentioned they die all the time.. proably had one dead for a while and the second one went out.
