damn car is already throwing codes. i did the clear corner headlights mod yesterday and the 2nd start up after installing them back in, i got a check engine light. i figured it was going to be some autoleveling code or maybe a "bank x too lean" code since you have to take the little intake thingy off too...nope. its p0444, an evap code. anyone have this before? and how is it fixed? are there any hoses up by the headlights i may have popped off or something? i really think this may have been the case, because it takes two drive cycles to set the light, and after installing the headlights i started the car up and backed it outside. theres drive cycle 1. then i started it up again, and drove to my friends house (noticing the check engine light). theres drive cycle two. makes sense that i did something to cause it right?

also, i baught my car just over 2 weeks ago, and they gave me a 30 day warrenty...you think evap system will be covered under warrenty?

edit-where is the charcoal canister located on these cars? is it in the front on the drivers side per chance?

P0444 - Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit Open

Check the connection to the purge valve located behind the airbox. Maybe you disconnected it and forgot to reconnect it.
