Neuspeed Rear Sway Bar Adjustment? Help..

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey guys whats up.. Im fairly new here on the fourms.. I just bought a neuspeed rear sway bar, i didnt install it yet, but i had one quick question about the adjustment on the bar because the instructions werent too clear for me. I searched in the DIY installs of the bar but no where really explained how to adjust it. In the instructions it says it has 3 different settings (hard, medium, soft).

    The instructions state:

Soft setting = holes closest to end of bar
Hard setting = holes furthest away from bar..

Then it says place endlinks in different holes to yeild medium setting... this is the setting that i want.. however im not sure if you place one end link in hard setting and the other endlink in the soft settin to get the medium setting... it just didnt seem right?

Can someone who had installed one of these bars help me out... I also read that the soft setting is not too much of a difference from stock, is that true?

Any help is appreciated thanks in advance,
    Ryan.

just go all hard, but yeah if you want medium go with one on the outside and one on the inside.
Why would you go full stiffness though?

Well the car is a street car not for the track, I heard it takes some time to get used to the sway bar set up, i thought the medium setting would be good for me to start learning how the car acts and reacts in certain situations.

if its the 19mm bar, you'll still want it on full stiff as long as your endlinks can handle it...

Check if your endlinks are plastic or metal. Go with medium if they are plastic and full with metal. You can buy the metal ones from purems.com

The two holes at the very end of the bar are the soft setting. The two holes closer to the main bar will be the hard setting. If you use 1 of each of the holes, you end up with a medium setting.
This will however put some preload on the bar unless you have adjustable endlinks.

I'd suggest starting off with the softer setting and see how you like it, then simply move up to the harder setting as you see fit.
