me and a bimmer friend want to start a local euro car club. He came up with the name "DÜRTYEUROZ" and I liked it. But apparently theres a club called Durty Euro or something? How well known is it? I really like that name, and this club would just be something small. Probably not known out of our respective towns. Think we could still use it?

Any other ideas for a cool name?

    Re: car club name

to be honest, i feel like i have heard of dirty euros before. im not sure, but the name seems to ring a bell.

try to do something that relates to where you are local. for example, the club i am in is called MetroDubs. The "denver metro" area is a HUGE area(it is MUCH more than just Denver county) and that is where the "metro" part of "metrodubs" is derived. i dont think i need to talk about where the "dubs" part comes from, haha. although we do have bimmers show sometimes. lol.

there is a club in colorado springs called "Edition 719" because 719 is the colorado springs area code.

and then there is a honda/other imports club that is called "high altitude imports" because they are based in denver, hense high altitude.

just giving you examples. i have never been to CT, so i dont know much about it. but since you live there i am sure you know of nicknames for the city you are in, or things that relate to the state/city to base your club name off of. and dont just think that your club will stay small. i know that in the beginning the weekly metrodubs GTG's were just a small handful of people, but now the weekly GTG's are like 25+ i think. AND there are sub-divisions of metrodubs having GTG's at different times of the week in different parts of the city because it is more local to them. AND THEN there are the recently created big monthly all Euro GTG's that metrodubs organizes which have had, at times, 115+ cars show!

Good advice. Durty Euroz does sound familiar to me too, but I've googled all variants and like nothing has come up.

Whats funny is the nickname for our main city is the "dirty waters".

Yeah, Dirty Euro's reminds me of this particular site that I wish I had membership to. Definitely not a club name.

Okay... i got one.. Europresent! .. no good? It's like Euro Represent, but short form..
