in case you missed the last thread i bought an avionixx amp off ebay and it blew up on me. it was wired right and everything but when i turned on the car i only heard crackles and turned it off and looked in my trunk and the amp was smoking...
anyways i called avionixx today and asked them about it and they told me to bring it in. i drove down to paramount(about 30 minutes away) and talked to the guy there. i explained my situation and what happened. heres where it gets interesting.
i show him my packing list and invoice and he looks at it and looks confused. he proceeds to tell me that he doesnt know who that is and he isnt authorized to sell their equipment. at this point i was a little frustrated and upset. i told him how i got it and where i got it from and i wrote down all the auction info before i went. he then told me i got duped and there is no warranty.
i asked him if i should contact the seller about this and then he just thought for a second. then he told me to leave the amp here and they'll take a look at it for me. they'll repair it for me free of charge out of good will and they'll contact the seller for me. HOW AWESOME IS THAT
props to the guys at avionixx and from now on i'm a fan of their stuff for life just cuz of GREAT customer service.
