What's seats fit in an A6?

I'm wanting to find an A6 with sport seats, but those are few and far between and I hate the regular flat seats. What other Audi seats fit an A6? I'm assuming S6 and RS6, but what about new A4's or even B5 or B6 S4's? Thanks in advance

you have a huge choice if you have black interior, you have s-line, s6, rs6, s4, tt may fit......i have tan....and only one i could find was sparco milano in tan.....

s4's fit the a6?...as in they bolt right in?

i dont think they bolt right in , but as far as i saw you can try to use a6's rails and s4 seat, i never measured them, but with little modification it can be done:)

B6 A4/S4 seats will NOT fit in the A6. While the A6 seats have two rollers in the back that ride in the rails, the actual anchor point is in the center of the seat adjustment rail which is located in the center of the seat. The B6 seats consist of two rails front and back, with the anchor points on the outward rails, not in the center. I'm sur that someone could rig an adaptor, but I would not want to try it since I doubt there would be assurances that they would stay intact in the event of an accident.

You can get seats from any C5 platform car, A6 sport and non-sport, S6, RS6. The avant rear seats are slightly different. The side bolsters in the rear will not be compatible with a sedan, but the seats will physically fit.

I don't understand why there are so few cars with sport seats....how much was the option? $1000? And then I find A6's with sports seats but without either Xenon headlights, Bose or heated seats. Oh well...I may have to buy a 4.2 A6, seems to be more with the seats...thanks everyone.

right on. I still have my cloth side bolsters on my S-Line setup :( and now my cargo net is gone since it slides on the back of the rear seats :(

Is Ebay.de the best place to look for C5 Recaros?

Ebay.de is a good source for Recaros, assuming the seller ships to the USA and assuming the seller doesn't flat out take your money. Expect to spend at least $2,000 for the seats and another grand for shipping, and another $500.00 to repair missing parts or fix shipping damage. I've got a pair of black alcantara S6 seats going into my sedan soon and they are NICE!

I've seen several B6/B7 seats in C5's but not knowing how they were adapted I'd say there's some custom mounting that needs to be made.

WOW! A little more than I would have thought to make these fit. Sounds like it would be cheaper to buy straight from Recaro. Would love to see the pics of the B6/B7 seats in a C5.
