How can you tell if your car has sports suspension?

I have an '06 2.0T Avant, non-S-line model. I'm just wondering how can you tell if the car has sport suspension or not?

I think the B6's sport suspension has red shocks? Is it the same with the B7's?

well, when you bought the car, it says on the sticker wether or not you paid for the sport suspension or not

I think he meant like when they're off the car.
It's obvious when they're ON the car if you have sport suspension.

I think he means when they're off the car and you compare them side to side, how can you tell the difference.

sorry.... I just purchased the car. It's not brand new. I'm just not sure if it has sport suspension in it or not? Just want to know how to tell the difference?

Well, the car sits a bit lower (at least my year 05.5)
Also If I remember correctly,

You can measure the rear sway bar

Non-Sport = 16mm
Sport = 18mm
The upgrade you have to do RS4 Sway Bar = 22mm

Another way is to look for the code 1BE on the option sticker in the spare wheel well or the maintenance manual.
