Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey. I have a 99 A4 1.8T With the winter package or w.e. I was once messing about with my features and some how the headlight washers came out. I was freakin amazed. Now when i try to show my friends it never works again and i look like a fool. Can some one please tell me how to get them to work? Thanks!

Re: How do i get my headlight washers to go on?

make sure headlights are turned on then press the front window washer button. Had the worst first hand experience with it. I asked my mom to wash the headlights so I can see it actually work and be amzed, what I didn't know was that the nozzel spraying onto the headlights was one of them jet streams, so I myself all went and smelling like windex, burned the heck outta my eyes too :|

you gotta have fluid in the tank and then turn on your headlights and spray like youve never sprayed before.

I'm going to have to disagree. When I drove my 850 mile trip to WA, going over the passes when I hit the headlight washers, the road would instantly get considerably brighter. When its horrible weather, and the roads are covered in slush, the squirters really made a drastic difference. I was happy I had them.

For sure, I live by those things when the snow starts dumping here in the Sierras. They make a night and day difference, in fact I run out and have to buy more at a gas station when I go up to Tahoe.

Re: How do i get my headlight washers to go on?

Yeah like the posts above, Headlight washer is a misconception. You'll have a nice dirty ride if you spray them, I'll even turn my headlights off at night to squirt the windsheld just so i don't spray the headlight ones.
