question: Most Audis per capita (by state)

I thought of this the other day when harassing an Iowa board member/manguyen about there being no Audi drivers in Iowa (that I had seen).

Anybody have/know of a report that details the number of Audis sold by state? We can do the math later for the per capita component.

I have to think Colorado has to be near the top. We have a boat load of Audis; I have to think the Quattro in the unpredictable weather, and the relatively strong economy has lead to this.

I would have to say Colorado is in the top 5. The other day on my way to work I thought I would count how many audi's I saw before I got there (regardless of model or year) and I counted 7. Oh ya, it's a 2.5 mile drive.

That's 1 Audi for every 1885 feet. Damn!!!

it verges on ridiculous here in CO. Especially Northern Colorado (Denver north to Fort Collins). I bet I see a half dozen everytime I go out for a 4-5 mile errand loop. Most are std A4s, but there are a lot of A6s and S4s too...

DC has a lot of german luxury cars in general. You are more likely to see a audi or bmw than a pontiac or chevy around here. Just the amount of money in such a small area means everyone drives a luxury car. So I see more BMW's and MB's, but I still see a ton of Audi's

I would be willing to go all in that NY/CT has the most audi's per area. Unfortunately, I am not counting both states entirely but really just the areas of fairfield/westchester county in NY. Fairfield itself has about 4 or 5 audi dealerships in one county. Lots of old people though that wouldn't be on the board. Again, thats an uneducated guess as I know CO is really up there.

Minnesota (twin cities metro anyways) has a lot if Audis. I see all kinds of Audis old and new daily.

that's why I went with per capita. CO is relatively small in population compared to CA, NY, TX, FL. I was hoping to get a lead on some Audi report... must wait I guess.

Yeah, but I would venture to guess that of the 100 Audi's I see on my way to work, only 1 or 2 is on here :)

that poll means nothing. California is a big "tuner" state so of course alot of people in a forum poll (a place that usually people interested in tinkering with their car hang out) are going to be from California whether the car at hand be a Honda Civic, an Acura Integra, a Toyota Supra, Mazda RX7 or in this case a Audi A4.

And I must say I recently went to Vail snowboarding and there were a ton of Audis there followed by wrxs

colorado has a ton of audis. and i am almost sure that since audi started making the "A"models with such as the A4, A6, A8, etc.; every single one sold in CO was with quattro.
