wawanesa insurance?

really competetive rates... i got a quote with all the bells and whistles ($50 deductible. $100,000 bodily and equipment coverage, etc..) for roughly $170 a month.

right now, im paying $140 to esurance for pretty much basic coverage (50/25 coverage)

note i'm M 18-25 driving a turbo car... i got a good driving record though...

the sales agent who was working with me @ the dealership recommended this. any thoughts/experience with this company?

i duno, all i know is i pay 200 a month for basic coverage (the one above the legal minimum) and im 20 with a clean record.

Wawa is good... cheap. They used to sponsor my cycling team and they gave us good rates on insurance...

Is Wawanesa a good company? Never heard of them. It would suck if they gave you a hard time when you claimed.

I advise that you get a higher deductible and pocket the savings. It's crazy to claim a $100 bill and have your insurance premiums go up. Also, your breakeven on moving comprehensive from $50 to $100 is around six months. Personally, I would max out all my deductibles and only use insurance in a major accident.

Ya raise your deductable.

Think about it:
1) $100 = $1,009/Year
2) $500= $504/Year

You dont get in an accident You Pay:
1) $1,009 for the year
2) $504 for the year

You get in 1 accident and your still paying:
1) $1109 for the year
2) $1,004 for the year


so unless u plan on getting in more then 1 accident per year its alot cheaper to go with number 2 the 500 deductible

My co-worker had Wawanesa for a long time. They have good rates and worked out very well for him. Good service as well.

I'd switch in a heartbeat if they would do motorcycles...

well our software can't quote out of state but for a policy similar to what you were quoted by wawanesa you'd be looking at about $1200 every 6 months. Granted that is in zip code 92805 which i think is downtown Anaheim. Word of advice is to ask about renters policies to give you a multiline discount. the cost of a renters policy is usually less premium than what you would save in having the multiline discount.

DONT GET BARE MIN LIABILITY COVERAGE!!!!

just dont do it, there are to many vehicles out there that are worth to much money if you get in an accident and only have 10k of property damage.....
