just bought this owners manual last week thinking i had purchased a used a4 w/out the owners manual and no idea on how to use all the sweet features. first thing i turn to: slit under steering wheel is a great place to store your a4 owners manual... i check under the steering wheel and guess what i find? so now i have 2 owners manuals. PM me if you're interested.

If you're looking for a 2002 or 2004 avant owners manual, this would probably come pretty close.

Condition: NEW, I've only flipped through it a handful of times... just got it a last week!

The guy I bought it from claimed he purchased them new from the dealer and put only 5k miles on them. I have close up pics if you're interested.

Hello I am selling my 01 6 speed S4 Avant. I purchased it 4 months ago from the original owner. At that time it was 100% stock. Since I got it I had O34 do the timing belt & water pump, oil change, new plugs. They also installed there downpipes and hi-flo cats, there bypass valves, APR cat back exhaust, APR tune, KW 3 coilovers. It has 135,000 miles and is really clean. Santorin blue with black leather. Interior is super clean. Asking $12,000 firm.

as for the b7, ive talked to the guy, and he refuses to put his price down, he was aking 29.5K and the car has 62k miles which i think is too high but a beautiful car

This is the issue. the car is in the shop for tensioners and its been sitting there quite a bit. Motor is still out and car is apart.
Anyway, just want to know how much the car is worth as-is. Dont want to do this but i might have to. sad face.

update! still a feeler but finally got my car back from the shop. changed all tensioners, guides, chains and gaskets. 4g's later i still want to know how much i can get for the car now.

I'm not sure when I will list the car for sale as I've ordered a car and the delivery date is sometime between 3 to 8 weeks from now. The Avant is currently sitting in my garage and will be for sale as soon as I take delivery of the new car.

Avant has 92,000 miles and will need timing belt service soon (I do not drive the car much at all these days) . It has zero mechanical issues. Engine is perfect.
It has a clear title and has never been in an accident.

Price will be $9000 as it is now which includes 18" RS6 reps. w/good tires, Bilstein sport shocks with Neuspeed Avant specific sport springs.
Or $8500 with stock shocks/springs and stock 17" wheels w/tires that are almost done.

Here's a pic of the Avant. It now has tint 50% front and 35% in back.

The interior is platinum w/wood accents. If I remember correctly, all 3.0 came standard with xenon, power/memory leather seats, auto-dimming mirrors and other options. This car does have the winter package w/heated front seats. I'll try to take some pics later.

I ordered a 2011 WRX 5-door last month. I'll be putting 30 to 35k miles a year soon and needed a newer car.

This car is NOT a good buy!! I checked it out at Emich VW in Denver and my wife and I noticed the paint looked a little bit off. We had them put a paint meter on it and practically every panel has a different paint thickness=car has been poorly painted ie: none of the panels match each other. It has a clean carfax which may throw some people for a loop, but don't be fooled. I have been looking for a 6MT avant for almost a year, but had to pass on this one because of the shady ass history. Do not be fooled!! I made a post about it when I looked at it to warn fellow enthusiasts who might get excited, I'll try and find it.

I hear ya! Fortunately, I have both! My B6 S4 and my new B8. I had thought about replacing the B6 with the one in the ad, but man...expensive!

I went the other way. Let go of the b6 s4, picked up a b8 a4, then a b5 s4 and the a B6 A4 avant. I love the avant though. I am thinking about letting go of the B5 s4.
