How rare is the 2.7T 6-speed?

I'm doing some early research as I want to pick one of these up later in the year and I want to know how rare these are? Also are there any statistics on what colors were offered? I really want a Black C5 A6 2.7T 6-speed and I'm just curious if my search will be futile or not.

all i know is that they came in auto only, so really rare

I know they made a 6-speed cause my friend has one but his is grey. So far I haven't been able to find any solid information on how many were made or what options/colors/ect.

rare, i have beige/tan, have seen black on black, green on tan, silver on black 6sp...hard to find in US.

I have silver with grey interior.. Manual 6 speed if thas what you mean. I lvoe it :) i hate auto. tip too.

I think this may be the first black one I've seen. Not sure if I want one with over 100k on it though. Are there any major issues I should look at other than standard maintenance issues with a 2.7T with that many miles?

for 9999 i would get it without thinking! but thats me...i got mine for 12.9 with 85xxx now i have 110xxx stage two... and cant wait to go ko4 but my turbos are still spinning and spikes till 18/19psi ! nuf said....depends what do you want from the car.

I had a black 2.7T with a 6spd. What really made me buy it was the special order vanilla leather with that combo.

There is some rarity to the 6spd, but they are still out there.

rare enough......not so much the car itself, but finding one for sale!! Have seen bright red on black also.

I used to work for an Audi/VW/Porsche dealer.

Finding a 2.7t allroad 6spd is RARE. The sedans, not as bad.

ps: took my wife on a date last nite in our new 96 A6 Avant blk/blk. caught up to an A6 4.2 that was just in front of us, only to find some "kid" driving it. couldn't have been more than like 22 or something. looked like 17. way too much pwr!!

**note: no offense to young people driving nice cars. personally, i have a HUGE appreciation for my Audi after driving Hondas in college and a 191K Saturn for the last 2.5 mnths. and not a 60K sports car upon getting my license.

ps2: had a guy step into the Audi dealership, bought his daughter a brand new Boxster. already had a Land Rover that was hers too. the kicker??? daughter was still months away from getting her license!! (her very first, license)

I know it's not the right time... I'm just messing with you.

I thought we had a new toy, but the financing deal we had with them fell through. They said there was a problem and that the vehicle was going to be like $200 more a month than we agreed to.

Looks like I'm going to be keeping this car for another year and then get the vehicle we want.

We thought about a RS6, but we decided against it. The S6 was never in the running. Too much money for not enough performance. We were looking at a SUV.
