is the a3 small for taller drivers?

I am heavily considering the a3 for the next vehicle. However, I stand at 6'2 big shoulders and would like to get current owners opinions on how the A3 fits them. I sat in one for a few moments (as the dealer hounded me) but could not get a good feel for it. I felt like I wanted to sit lower in the car. Any tall a3 owners out there?

Hey Im 6'4 and i have plenty of head room... The best part of Audi/VW seats is the ability to move the seats up and down in large ranges. I mean weather your 5 flat or 6'8 you can fit

that is good to hear. i did not know you could move them up and down. I guess the a3 I sat in had the seat jacked up.

I sat in the a4 too but felt it to be too big behind me for what I need or don't need right now. the a3 just reminds me of a pratical tt and seems to have nailed the interior compared to the a4. (although audi in general sets the bar with its interiors)

    I am 6-1, 210 and broad shoulders
with open sky, plenty of head room

now I could probably loose another 10-20 lbs and "fit" into the bolseters better

thats one reason I did not get a GTI, I hated the plaid seats, and the only other option was the leather seats with very AGGRESSIVE bolseters that did not work for this fat boy

yeah i'm 6"1' and when i got my car back from the dealer for service, the seat was jacked all the way up so my head hit the roof. I moved it down, not all the way to the bottom and i sit very comfortably. I've noticed that the A3 is tighter than larger cars like the A4, but it sort of wraps around you well. You don't feel cramped and you have plenty of room.

im 6'6 and dont have a problem with the a3 nor the a4. both have plenty of legroom and headroom. i dont even move my seat all the way back in my a4, could fit a much taller guy in just fine

6'-2" No headroom problems here. Seat is as low as it will go. And no sunroof on my model.

FYI-with helmet during track days I'm very close to the headliner. Borderline too close for my tastes.

After spending time in the car, I feel it is a rather small cabin for big people.
