So I was at the local autoparts store today and I came across Dupli-color High Performance Vinyl & Fabric Coating... I have this huge stain in my rear seat black leatherette.... and I was thinking of spraying my entire rear seat... I have already pulled it out and its ready for spraying. Has anyone ever used this stuff? Should I use flat black or gloss black? Here is what Dupli-color's website says...
"Dress up or add life to your interior vinyl and fabric with Dupli-Color® High Performance Vinyl & Fabric Coating. It’s perfect for vinyl seats, dashes, door panels, shifter boots and consoles. Formulated with a maximum adhesion promoter so there’s no need for primer. It’s fast drying and won’t crack, peel or chip. Available in a variety of OEM colors or hot tuner colors."
So this should work on the leatherette stuff am I correct? I mean its like vinyl and the site says you can paint seats... So I thought I might try it out since its only $6.49 and would cost much cheaper than having a new seat covered... The stain is buggin the F out of me, lol. So anyone use this before? Any suggestions or tips? or what not to dos?
