    Bridgestone vs. Yokohama

I am still undecided on a tire choice for my 98 A4. I am looking at the Bridgestone G009 vs. the Yokohama H4S. Comparing the brochures the tread pattern looks pretty much identical, but the price is better for Yokohama. These are the all season radial by the way.

Anyone have these on your car? How do you like them, road noise, handling etc?
Out of curiosity, what do the new Audi's come with?
I am replacing Goodyear Eagle LS tires.

On a side note, I drove my wife's Freestyle in the snow flurry activity last night and it sticks like glue to the road. It must be a combination of the big Pirrelli tires and the constant velocity transmission. Traction was amazing with no slipping and braking was excellent with no sliding.

    Re: Bridgestone vs. Yokohama

My only experience with Yok's was with the ES100's. I hated them, they sounded like I was driving on mud tires, so loud. The hum when driving was too much so I sold them after only using them for 5 months. Not sure about the H4S but that's just my latest experience with Yok tires.

Where I had both priced out, the Yokohama was about $60.00 less for the set.
MInd you these reviews are for 17" and the Yoko was the quietest tire.

I think Yokohama is the way I will go. Great site for information and choosing wheels for the Audi and having them pop on the car is a riot, especially when you can choose your car colour.
