245/35/19 on a 19x9.5...

im being told both yes and no...
this is a pic with an alleged 245/35 on a 9.5 rim...


ill need the stretch to fit my drop...
but will it?

i was planning to run 235/35 on the 8.5 up front and the 45/35 on the 9.5 rear...good yeh?

also IF the 245/35 is a stretch...whats a good, stretchable, low budget tire...
planned to run good ol' general exclaims as i love the price, and happy with the rubber...
if they do stretch im sure its minimal...

The General's rim width range on a 245/35R19 is 8" to 9.5" .........

it'll be stretched a little, but yeah, it's within the recommended range

we've put 225's on a 9.5" wheel before...

as far as the fitmentm it'll fit.

as for stretching, it will be slightly stretched if you put a 235 on a 9.5

i have 245 on 9.5 its slightly stretched, 225 (F)and 235(R) stretched alot and will sure fit the a4 with your drop, imo...

On your quattro I recommend

19 x 8.5 with 235/35/19
19 x 9.5 with 245/35/19

You will get a little stretch in the rear depending on the type of tire. The Toyo T1R has a nice rolled shoulder which helps in tougher fitments

What are the offsets of your wheels?

You also have a rear camber adjustment which you can adjust a little negative should you have rubbing issues.

We have also shaved a little of the backpad of the wheel in some really aggressive instances.

i'm thinking off putting a 215 on the 8.5 and a 225 on the 9.5 rim
those where the sizes i had om my RH ZW4 on my ex b6 buth then in 18''

Falken tires tend to have more stretch than other brands too, my 255's on my 10's fit like 245's.

yeah....i had 245's on my 9.5's with falken tires. They were indeed stretched. Always hard to park pretty slowly lol

i plan on doing the same setup but im not sure if i should go 225/40 & 215/40 because of the stretch making the tire lower. any chance you could measure the diameter? TIA
