    how's the quattro work on A4 (torsen diff)

    I had a question and nobody that i've asked seem so know the answer. I was wondering about the awd on the A4.

    From what I understand it's a torsen centre diff.

    Just wonder is it a vicous coupled centre? I think it is because when i pulled the ebrake on snow ... all 4 locked up.

    Also are there any limited slip front or rear diffs ... any info would be much apreciated.
    2003 A4 Avant 1.8T, 5psd, Atlas Grey, GIAC FXK03, TT225, Injectors, Thermal R&D, stock suspension , winter tires.

    Stasis has a diff. rebuild that you can get, everyone who has it only has good things to say... as for how it works, no idea

    I was more wondering what the A4 had.

    From what I gather

    Centre Diff : Torsen (quaffe)
    Front Diff: ??? I've heard Open with the ELD stuff
    Rear Diff: ??? Same as front ...

    Any ideas? I was just wondering what we had. On wikipedia they said it was open diffs with brake distribution locking diffs for front and back and Torsen Centre diff.
