Just looked at mine, mine says 1634 or 3,602pd.

3650 is pretty much spot on with an empty tank, but spare and toolkit in.

That's with a full tank and all other fluids. A 2000 S4 will be a little lighter due to no ESP, aluminum uprights, etc. Probably 20-30lbs max.

Hey for everybody else listing weights, please list what option packages you have such as cold weather, CD changer, NAV, etc.

I'm going to check that sticker on all of my S4s, but it's probably long gone on the blue car.

Here are the weights of my four S4s:

Silver 2000 6spd with sunroof, CD changer, but no cold weather package or NAV
3622lbs (1643kgs)

Blue 2000 6spd with sunroof, cold weather package, but no CD changer or NAV
3631lbs (1647kgs)

Black 2000 6spd with sunroof, CD changer, cold weather package, but no NAV
3640lbs (1651kgs)

Red 2000 tiptronic with sunroof, CD changer, cold weather package, AND NAV
3704 (1680kgs)

is this weight figure dry? or is this with all the fluids, full tank of gas, spare, tool kit etc...? I cant believe no ones discovered this untl now. Now i can actually tell the exact weight i've shaved off from stock. awesome.

I would think it would be as prepped for delivery so all fluids and a little gas.

Pretty sure i have one of the lightest to start out with, haha.I guess not have a sunroof,Nav, cold weather package helps.


If you run with 1/4 to 1/2 its going to bring the weight of the car down alot aswell.

I'll go out and look.....there was nothing else in the car except me, spare tire, etc....but 3880 - 240lbs = 3640lbs....that does sound about right for stock.....

Because that is what the definition of a "curb weight" is: the total weight of the car with a full tank of gas and fluids, but no passengers or cargo. This is how S4s were delivered to dealerships when they were new.

But how do you know that number on the sticker is defined as curb weight? All I see is a number in KG.

What else could the weight represent? Coming from the manufacturer all it can be is curb weight or gross vehicle weight (GVW).

I always preferred the body style of the 90s over the 100s. It never really made sense to me why Audi chose the longer and heavier chasis for the 20v turbo.

ANd above, the 3, 2000 s4s that 11sec has weigh in the same as everyones 2001? what s the bottom line here, is the dang 2000 really lighter or not?

Im pretty sure im in the 3,490pd range.If you loose the spare,toolkit,cd changer,lighter borla exhaust, and pc680 bat, im sure im getting pretty close.

Aren't evos/stis in the 3,300pd range?
