Hi

I have a 2011 A4 B8 2.0 tfsi EA888 Gen 2

In a moment of madness I made the mistake of putting around 20 liters of diesel in the fuel tank. i drove for about 5 miles before the car cut out and will not start again at which point i realized the error.

Would really appreciate some help as hoping to resolve myself instead of bringing the car to a mechanic.

VCDS showing codes

P0087 - low fuel pressure

as well as misfires on all 4 cylinders.

I removed the plugs (which were only replaced a few days ago) which were black, wet and covered in soot. I have cleaned these and replaced.

I removed the fuel pump, changed the filter and flushed the pump through with petrol before putting everything back together

I pulled the fuel line to the HPFP and the other line to the fuel rail and ran the fuel pump using VCDS. The pump is definitely working as fuel flows through the HPFP line, but nothing is flowing through the fuel rail line. I thought maybe the line was blocked so i used a compressor to run air through, but again the HPFP line is clear, but the fuel rail line doesn't allow air through.

The car turns over fine, but obviously will not start as no fuel going to injectors.

I am hoping someone can give me some ideas of what to look at please or any thoughts as to why the fuel is not flowing to the rail

Thanks in advance

Anthony
