Anyone else "building" their S7 in here?

I don't see a ton of action in here for the S7. I joined for insight, tuning support, parts availability, and information sharing. Either people are just gatekeeping around here, or no one else is trying to build one of these cars that we already have minimal support for.
I've googled and done a ton of homework on these cars, and really do not come up with much. I'd like to bounce ideas off others that are in the same boat here, but it seems like I may be the only one in here.
To date, I've done almost all the OBDeleven hacks I can find, some are valuable, some suck, but I stole the majority from the C7 forum and RS5 group. I had the Matrix lights enabled, almost $1000, and I was skeptical, but living in a rural part of town, its worth every penny.
I have the APR Stage 1 tune, it's a total waste of money and the gains are marginal and minimal at best. Save your money for custom tuning. Their support is there, but they are unwilling to make it right. Most of the features that are advertised on their site aren't available for our platform, and they say that's in their fine print, though I still haven't seen it.
Hardware wise I installed the APR intake.. Very nice piece, but the plastic secondary air tube flange broke from the carbon fiber tube. I looked online and found another owner that had the same issue. I used JB weld to repair it and its been solid... APR did reluctantly step up and send a new pipe out.
I installed GFB diverter valves, those are pretty awesome. They hold boost longer and make the butt dyno feel like you're making more power, while you're actually hold boost and using it.
Lastly, I installed catted high flow DownPipes. They are badass. They wake the factory sport exhaust up substantially. With the valves open she screams. The issue with those, the CEL is on for catalyst below threshold P0420 P0430. This is the same code for catless pipes. These are 200 cell pipes. I'm looking into electronic simulators, as any tuning to turn off the secondary o2's will fail state emissions test, as you will never get IM readiness.
Cosmetically, I have carbon fiber mirrors, a 3 piece lip wing for the rear, and some carbon fiber parts for interior accents.
I cut the chrome exhaust tips off and welded on Black Stainless quad tips, since that was the only chrome on the car.
I took the OEM black optics grille off and swapped it for the RS grille.
My tires just came in today, so next week, I'll have all black 21" ABT wheels installed and my red calipers will be blue when I'm done here.
its a work in progress, I'd post more pics, but hosting them here is a real pain in the ass, can't just copy/paste.

I think most of us are probably building an S7 inside of our imagination because that's the only place we can afford it

What have been your favorite OBD11/VCDS changes so far? Have you had to replace your BSG or is the S7 not affected by that issue?

I had mine replaced under the service campaign. So I was fortunate it didn't fail before they were able to get me in for it.
This is the pricey-est car I've thrown more money into for mods, especially after telling my wife I was leaving this one stock LoL.
As far as favorite OBDeleven mods, I like the RS taillight animation, Sunroof and windows open/Close with key fob, air suspension height set-point control (I'm 17mm lower than stock now), and all touch screen applications enabled when in motion the best. I'm sure there a few others, but I haven't been keeping good record of what I've been changing and adding.
I want to change the DRL brightness, because I heard that they aren't at 100% intensity from the factory, and I'd like to to that for normal daytime operation.

That looks like the grille from the 2025. You can get it from Europrice and it can fit onto any of the 2019+ A7/S7 models.

I did the RS grille in mine... I like the '25 grille, but the RS looks a lil more aggressive IMO

Well shiiiit. tell me more about the diverters, hard install? I dont have an S7, but an S6, and found that nobody really does anything to these cars. I'm getting ready to go get the mid resonators replaced with an x pipe. I've seen TGK is working on an intake for the 2.9 RS5, hoping they'll do something for the S6. For your cats, did you try spacers on the DPs? When i used to go catless on my mustangs I would just put some spacers on the O2s and the CEL would go away after clearing it.
