    2019 Q5 - DIY turbo replacement help

So the dealer wanted over $4500 to replace my turbo. Being a car guy I figured I’d give it a go. Started yesterday and boy is this turning in to being a difficult job. Getting the lower support bracket bolt out took hours and a crazy combo of extensions and universal sockets. Now I’m stuck getting the lower right bolt out where the turbo mounts to the engine. Anyone else done this job and have any tips to offer? Getting a torque wrench on some of these bolts will be nearly impossible.
    Thanks!

May I know the reason why you need such a major repair ? Is it 100k miles already ?

It’s about 85,000 miles. Apparently these turbos are a weak link in these cars.

85k miles !!! Wow! Any other things ? Otherwise, the engine is robust!!

If turbo is the weaklink, why not upgrade it as well ? I am interested in what you will do next. Sorry, I can not help muchn just observing with interests. Also praying that my SQ5 will be joy for a long while
