Looking for clarity and firm confirmation on whether or not the TTS ball joints (part numbers: 8J0 407 365 & 8J0 407 366) are compatible and interchangeable with the OEM S3 control arms. They are used on VW MQB platforms to add camber, but sometimes require control arm swaps as well.
Im currently on the 034 RCO but one failed after hitting a massive pot hole.
Im looking at the TTS as an OEM+ replacement with (hopefully) better build quality.
Current suspension setup with 2.9* front camber:
- Bilstein B12 (B8 shocks with Eibach springs)
- Euro-Sport top mounts
- TTRS solid lower control arm bushings
- 034 RCO ball joints

What failed on the 034's?

The ball joint itself failed. It was a pretty big pothole.. had to get a set of tires bc of it, and a half dozen other cars went down while I was there deal with my own flats.

To close the loop on this.. you CANNOT run the TTS ball joints WITHOUT the TTS lower control arm.
There is a very good OEM+ upgrade path if you follow that route (but I opted to rerun the stock S3 lower control arms with TTRS bushings.
Back to the 034 RCO. [drive]

I've had these long before 034 came out with theirs...
The Whitelines offer a bit of camber adjust as well.

I did explore the WhiteLine option but wanted a non-adjustable setup to help keep things simple. I went back and forth with the overall direction of the suspension before settling on what I did. Overall I am very pleased with the setup, but in hindsight I would have done a few things differently. Mainly, I would have gone with a front and rear sway combo rather than just a rear. [wrench]
