Hi all. Just wondering if anyone had any idea how to activate the rear indicators to sweep via obdeleven. They used to sweep until my mechanic fit a new headlight and now they don’t, so before I go back is there an adaptation I can use on obdeleven?

Are you sure you still have your original rear lights? Because it sounds like you don't...

All my mechanic did is fit a new headlight. I wonder during coding he might of messed with the rear lights by mistake.

Just an update. I’ve connected to the rear head light modules both left and right and the settings are the same and when I change any settings all this does is just change how the red lights work not the indicators.
So my thoughts are the indicators are on a seperate module.
Does anybody know what this module code might be for the obdeleven?

Update. I’ve found the correct module and they are all set to sweep. My mechanic is going to swap the lights over next week and see if it’s a light issue or a wiring issue. I had one member say that it happened to him and it ended up being a broken wire coming through the boot hinge. I’ll keep you posted.

Check your 4B module for any errors, I had this happen where the sweeps weren’t sweeping because of errors in the 4B.

The 4B module is referred to as the headlight cornering module. Hook up your scan tool and see if there are any errors in there

No fault codes at all and the more I play the worse things are getting. When I use the turn signal now the front to rear alternate and don’t work at the same time.
I’m booked in with Audi in a few weeks and they have stated it may be a faulty control module.

Ok the plot thickens. I’ve just managed to fix the rear indicators. They both sweep. It was 2 modules called Leuchte2SL
VLB10 and the next one 3SL. These 2 modules control the rear sweeping turn signals and need to be set at 127. These modules do not control the front DRLs like it has been stated. So what I am left with now is the outer rear red lights flash with the turn signals (which looks quite cool) and the front to rear turn signals are alternating. I’m pretty sure they are suppose to work at the same time.

All fixed folks. Light Setting 23 and 24 were not set right. These modules control the outer red lights and were set as indicators. They needed to be not active.
Thanks to the main man Don.

Thanks for keeping us updated. You’re not saying you found a way to separate the US spec rear indicator lighting, are you?

Light setting module 23 and 24 are the modules for the outer red tail lights. They were set to work as indicators. I changed them to not active and the dimming down to 0.
Leuchte24SL HRA65 and Leuchte23SL HLC10:
Lichtfunktion E > nicht aktiv
Dimmwert EF > 0
Lichtfunktion G > nicht aktiv
Dimmwert GH > 0
