Has anyone installed this wing? Looking for some feedback. I come from Wrx Sti family and I find the RS3 rear pretty boring so looking to spice it up a bit 🫣

Just do it. Your car, your vision. I don't like it, but I also was never a big wing guy with STI's. I'm a duckbill spoiler man myself.

Yeah I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I love it.
My car is white so carbon fibre should really look good on it. I’m just a bit on the fence when it comes to drilling holes.

I think it looks horrible and would never put a wang on any of my cars. That being said, I agree do whatever you want to your car. If you dont like it or go to sell it, a new OEM trunk lid is going to be over 1K to replace keep that in mind.

I looked into wings (and all aero) for a bit. From what I understand, wings are a bit more efficient in terms of drag vs downforce. I made a spreadsheet with the parts I found. Some might need to be confirmed to fit with the 8Y. My car is track and daily, so I would want an adjustable wing if I went with a wing.
I ended up going with the AutoID spoiler. It's a bit more aggressive than the stock spoiler. If Aerofabb makes some 8Y parts, I'd definitely consider those in the future, but I decided against drilling holes for now. I might just get a dedicated track toy at some point.
Bad aero can be noisy and kill MPG so I would be a little careful with what you get. Especially if you're drilling holes.
Here is the list if it's useful for anyone.

I actually like big wings so long as they are executed correctly. With that being said, the wing displayed here, along with most of the wings readily available for these cars and the TT RS, just don't do it for me. Not only do they not meet the roofline of the car for access to clean air, but they are also gaudy for the sake of being gaudy. If this is all about aesthetics, then it doesn't matter. If you're looking for something functional, I'd consider a gander at Aerofabb, as they have proper wings.

fack....next thing you'll see is on vortex generators on the roof. Big wangs don't belong on the street.
I've been in a Subaru...I've even tuned a few. Just because you are from subie fam doesn't mean it has to rub onto an Audi.

It seems like you are here seeking validation for what you know is a questionable decision. That validation you seek will not be found.
If you want a wing that bad, go for it. But you know it will look like rice, so best not to advertise to those of us who would be critical of the decision.

I welcome all suggestions, no hard feelings here. Consensus is to stay away from this upgrade. I think it looked really good on the Subie, personally I felt incomplete without one specially on the Hawkeye.
I wanted to find out if someone did this upgrade and how it performed, also how would it look like in person.
My RS3 is still bone stock but I have bought few goodies for it, waiting for the right time to install them.

The wing itself looks superb in quality and finish. Everyone drools on GT3s, GT4s, GT2s, R8s and they all have similar wings. Even the Mercedes GT coupes etc. That just did it, if it comes from factory maybe people wouldn't dislike it but it doesn't. I personally love the final quality finished product on this particular wing, in other words, I love the wing but not necessarily like it on the RS3. At the end of the day is your car and your taste.
If it was offered as an Audi Package ? uhmm. ..maybe.

FLOM Motorsports runs a wing on his RS3 and it looks downright menacing. The one he ran on his "V.1" build with the Redbull livery is a street wing and I believe an OEM wing from Audi. https://www.instagram.com/p/CQJVaFln3A8/
Granted some people on here will probably tell you "oh well that's a purpose-built track car- that's different" but if it looks good, who cares?
This is an RS3 we are talking about, not a priceless super rare 964 Porsche 911 Turbo Cab or something.

Yeah exactly, is RS3 too sophisticated to have a wing? Isn’t RS3 a rally inspired car?

If you want to lean on heritage to justify a wing, a better inspiration would be the Audi 90 IMSA GTO race car.
That said, I wouldn't have ordered mine with a wing. Much like the M4 GTS, it just looks tacked on versus part of the design from the ground up (i.e., Porsche).

The 2019+ Vantage does come with a wing depending on the trim.

All this talk about the wing is pretty funny, though. It reminded me of all the people that yelled at me while I was driving my ZL1 1LE telling me I was a tool for installing that ridiculous wing on it. I've had folks come up to me at Cars and Coffee events asking why I would ruin the car with that dumb aftermarket wing on it. When I tell folks that it's OEM and it comes that way, they'd laugh and say that GM would never put rice on their vehicles like that. [facepalm]

I could not disagree more with the quoted statement. A giant, tacked-on wing (when it serves no purpose) is just as embarrassing as adding fake vents from Autozone. But hey, he'll still be worlds better than the stanced crowd - they ruin their cars aesthetically AND functionally!
OP is welcome to add whatever wing he pleases. There is no accounting for taste, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, etc. It's his car and his money - he should do whatever makes HIM happy. But if I see that thing drive past, you better believe I'm gonna shake my head in disgust lol.

That rear wing and tacked-on fender flares are perfectly appropriate on a race car. Function over form. They're not supposed to look good, they're supposed to do a job (downforce, or holding oversized tires, respectively). Making those mods on a street car would just make you a poser.
But again, I want to stress that this is all personal taste. That wing doesn't hurt anything except for looks, and looks are subjective. If one wants to look like a race car driver and mods the car accordingly, even though it'll never see the track, one is free to do so. No different than the fact that I toss my cookies when I see an otherwise-good car covered in waifu stickers, but you know that guy is just so proud to show his fellow incels that he's part of their little social group.

gonna chime in with my opinion: if you want a wing, go for it. but the one you posted in the OP is ugly.
several people have mentioned the wing that I used to have on my car. it's the GT Adjustable Spoiler from RevoZport. It was great, and has real adjust ability.
shamless plug, it's for sale if anyone is interested in it (got a TCR wing and trunk). also, that being said, I also have my factory trunk that already has holes drilled in it for sale, if you wanted to buy it with the wing so you dont have to drill holes in your trunk [>_<]

If it was going on a 1997 Honda Civic that wing would still look.....absolutely hideous. But hey, it's your car and you do you. Beauty in the eye of the beholder, am I right?

Your RS3 has had you do a few evolutions past STI owner, STI hatchback owner, good condition Lancer EVO owner, etc. You're still way short of Keen Project 4x4 Safari Porsche but you are in a higher atmosphere now. Don't lower yourself back down to those depths brother. No to the wing.
