Zimmerman Brake rotors

Do you guys paint the brake rotor hats and vanes to a a different color to match your wheels? Or install the grey rotors and pads and call it the day?
The Zimmerman rotors are grey, I am thinking about spraying hi temp gloss black paint on the hats and vanes to match my powder coated black wheels.

I'd just leave it grey and call it a day, but that's me. Most wheels cover the hat enough you'd only really see the paint standing next to the car and looking down. Plus unless you prepped well and use a really good epoxy or high-temp paint it's gonna flake, look like shit at some point, drive you nuts, and barely anyone will even notice it anyways. Calipers the only thing worthwhile IMO..but I don't even do that anymore.

Originally i ordered the Oem Audi rotors (hat and vane are flat black) , I cancelled it and bought the Zimmerman rotors from FCP euro because of the lifetime replacement warranty and the price was too good to pass ($1240 Zimmerman rotors and ebc red stuff brake pads plus addition 10% off for orders over $399).

I am going to paint the hats to match the wheels. I’m a little OCD, the grey rotor hats look kinda awkward behind the black wheels.

Anyway Zimmerman rotors painted using Rustoleum semi gloss hi temp paint. Installing tomorrow one the paint fully dry.

I have Zimmerman rotors and I'm not quite sure why but the inside of the rotor where the splines are is rusting really badly and throwing rust colored water on my wheels every time they get wet. I hardly drive in any salt if I can help it, but my next set of brakes will for sure get a coat of paint

I try to get as much paint in between the vane. Hopefully I will not have any rust issues.

At some point in time we all used Zimmerman as they are OEM. I have replaced my front OEM with Zimmerman so as to not pay the 4 ring surcharge but I have never painted a rotor for any reason at all, just have not cared if they did not match or grew some surface rust.

Same opinion. Easy to source and sometimes on sale.
