I got my first check engine light after about a year and 1 month of ownership and im stumped

The code is p202600 for Evap fuel vapor temp sensor circuit low voltage

I measured the battery voltage resting at 12.3v
When running its 13.8v, it's . It seems a bit low, but I don't have any starting issues even from this past winter.

Is there a fuse for this? Anyone know what else I can check? I couldn't find a specific fuse for it on the fuse diagram, so I'm a bit lost.

Any help is appreciated. The car starts right up and seems to drive fine.

I'm unsure where it's at on the B8, but you want to measure voltage at the connector that goes into the sensor. Usually these are found in/around the fuel tank ir on the fuel cell with the pump (I'm speaking generally). Low voltage could also mean zero voltage. Possibly a wiring issue.

I'll see if I can find something for you.

That's a B8.5. I don't think I have access to look that up. No wonder why I couldn't find this sensor. It doesn't exist within the B8 MYs.

I'm wondering if it's my battery getting a bit old. I did have the doors and stuff open while doing a deep cleaning yesterday. I'll update if it comes back

If you're battery was low, you'd get other codes for that before an EVAP code. EVAP codes will, after 5 cycles? turn the lamp off but still be present in the computer unless you cleared it. Then when it does an EVAP cycle and checks on that temp sensor, if there's a problem, it will illuminate the lamp again.

Does anyone know where this sensor is located? I haven't had a chance to take it in. All I could find online is that the wiring might be damaged no specific solutions or information

I wouldn't waste money taking it in. it's an emmisions code.

EVAP Fuel Vapor Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
Signal voltage, < 0.00 - 3.25 V

B8.0 used a V144 leak detection pump (LDP). B8.5 uses a J909 control unit for fuel tank leak detection with integrated tank pressure sensor G400 (NVLD). Both hang off the charcoal canister in front of the left rear wheel well. https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/749780-DIY-Charcoal-Canister-Leak-Detection-Pump-Evap-CEL-Codes-P0445-Gas-pump-issue

J909 has three wires to it. 12v from fuse, and then two wires to the ECM.
pin 1 > fuse
pin 2 > T17q pin 2 > ECM
pin 3 > T17q pin 3 > ECM

For wiring, pull the J909 plug and the T17q plug and test for low resistance continuity and no short to ground or 12v (both pins to either jump start post should all report no voltage). T17q is the red one in the ECM box. And verify 12v on pin 1.

I figured it was by the canister. Only likely spot for it :)

Do you know which fuse gives 12v to J909? I guess that could be the first and easiest step

Looks like right rear, column "B", fuse 12, 5 amp, term 30.

Looks like right rear, column "B", fuse 12, 5 amp, term 30.It was the fuse! I replaced it yesterday and everything has been back to normal. Obdeleven code went from red to green and it cleared.

Drove around yesterday and today with it gone .

Next question is why was it blown? [emoji848]

I was back there with a multimeter the day before looking for switched 12v for a remote turn on but I needed up running a line from the drivers side panel since all those ones were constant 12v.

Maybe I touched something I shouldn't have.

Thank you smac770 for giving me the right info for this, I didn't think the 2 were related since it was an evap code

No problem.

There are no term 15 fuses in the rear on a B8.5. Only the black columns on the ends of the dash are term 15. All fuse positions in the rear are wired term 30 (always on). But it seems you now know that. :-)
