Pretty much what the title says-May have to replace the windshield either now or a little later and I would appreciate any info from anyone on the forum as to whether my car has an acoustic windshield OR how to determine if it does.

As far as I know only the Q5s had acoustic glass, not the A/S/RS. I'm not 100% on that though...

Look for the letter A or equivalent symbol on your current windshield.

Looks like all B9 windshields are "A" marked.
You're going to need more than just is it acoustic or not to get a proper windshield. With or without heads up display, with or without driver assistance camera, and whether you're 4GF, 4GS, 4GT, 4GR, or 4GY windshield PR code. To determine the specific Audi windshield part number. Or call a dealership and ask for the correct one for your VIN. Then you get a proper replacement for that specific part number.

So thanks for all the info. NOW I have been reading all the installation horror stories so is it better to have an install at the dealer or are going to drive it to Safelte?
