New Colorado license plate designs!

Just saw one of these on a Veloster down here in CR, figured I’d let y’all know.

As of January 2023, Colorado has a couple new plate designs, as shown below: black, blue, and red with white text.

Just ordered my personalized plates as “replacement” through the DMV via vehicle services, cost me about $38 overall. Pretty stoked to see these on my Sportback.

Pretty sure they are throw backs to older CO plates per the article. We've run out of ideas and are going backwards.

"The three released backgrounds feature the word "Colorado" in white lettering on solid blue, red, and black backgrounds. Respectively, those designs are based on the 1914, 1915 visitor, and the 1945 Colorado license plates."
