I have a block with uneven length main bearing bolts.
Stock bolts are nutty expansive.
Brings ARP studs into range.
ARP 201-5012
I read somewhere that using them may require some (webbing?) modifications to the block?
Does anybody know details?

The ARP kit should be drop in. You dont wanna modify your main caps unless 100% necessary. The block shouldn't need modifications unless your having clearance issues. If your no running crazy high boost, you don't really need ARP bolts. Hit up ECS for torque to yield bolts and call it a day.

Is the crank in the correct orientation (oil pump sprocket on right side of block)?
Are the main bearing cap in correct orientation/sequence?
Just want to make sure.
This block required 2 different length main bearing cap bolts. IIRC, the long ones are inside, close to the crank.

You can always double check main cap orientation with the crank out. Match up casting witness marks. That looks correct to me, but with out being there it's hard to be certain. Does the crank turn over super smooth? Any resistance at all, tear it apart and double check casting lines. Did you drop in new bearings?
