Audi S5 trouble code P164B00

My 2014 Audi S5 keeps getting an EPC light and a rev limit to 4k rpm when I try and accelerate passed like 3800rpm. It doesn't always happen but it's been happening pretty frequently lately. Also it goes away when I restart the car. No check engine light but this is the code that shows up on my scanner: P164B00. Anyone know what the solution could be to this problem?

Epc & rev limited are related to the p164b00 Some aftermarket oil filters will cause the problem(incorrect measurements) failing oil pressure sensor failing oil pump connect a oil pressure gauge

Have you tried changing the oil switch?

Found this post from another forum member. Oil pressure switch. He was thrown at first because he had just replaced it. His eventual solution was to switch brands from VEMO to Beck/Arnley.
