Do superchargers get louder with age/mileage??

It's been warmer her finally so I've been driving more with my windows open I can really hear the supercharger more then usual it also sounds like its louder with the windows closed then usual or is it my imagination. I did just have the major service done at 85kms 50 miles ?

I doubt they could of done anything wrong with the belt ? The main ribbed belt drives the sc also ??
